I really wanted to post these for you on Wednesday, but life got in the way. So today I decided to really get after it and get some work done.. Truth be told, it was hardly work. I was so excited about this shoot.
Last year, I missed out on Senior Season because I was out on maternity leave. I'm back this year and I'm pumped. These Senior sessions are a great opportunity for me to think out of the box and get a little funky with crops, composition, editing, and locations. Lucky for me, I have very willing subjects.
Meet Issac.
Issac and his ultra hip parents met me last Saturday morning for this shoot. It was a cool, windy morning but we were all determined to make this a successful shoot. I say we succeeded. We succeeded in a very good way.
We found the perfect place for this young artist. By the way, I've made an executive decision to not duplicate locations for Senior shoots. First come, first serve on the locations unless two of you come to me together wanting the same location. I really want my Seniors to have unique images. I remember when I was in high school. There were about 20 girls from my Senior class running around with wallets of themselves on the same swing with the flowers draped down the sides. Bleh.
So if you're a Senior wanting pictures with me, this location is no longer available, but I'm sure we can find something that suits you.
This place suits Issac.
If you haven't already guessed, Issac is a musician and he is making the band look pretty cool these days. It just isn't what it used to be.
Luckily, Dad, who would make a great stylist I might add, thought to let Issac borrow his shades.
Shades + Chuck Taylors = too cool for school
This was a fun gig.

I'm over here WOWING as well!! Great shots! May many blessings come your way Issac! What a fantastic shoot!

Issac! What fantastic pictures of you - love the ones with guitar and shades! These are not just Sr. pictures, they are an expression of YOU! I especially like the one with the word "creative" on the building. Great work, Viv!! How you captured this interesting young man! God bless you Issac - whatever you do, be a good one!

I just had to comment, I can't hold it in anymore! First of all, thank you again Viviana, you are exceptional at what you do! People who know Issac know how shy he is, however, he was totally at ease and we had a blast! I feel blessed to have you take his pictures. Secondly, I am crying over here but, last night when we first saw the pics online I saw my son's self-worth rise before my very eyes when he saw them. He has never viewed himself as being handsome, cute, studly(although Momma and grandma always tell him that!)or whatever the term used is nowadays but he did last night. It is amazing how a different "lense," a different haircut, a different outfit can raise your self confidence and that is what I saw in Issac's step today when he left for school this morning. Thank You again and God Bless. p.s. His Myspace took alot of hits last night...especially from the ladies! LOL
