A sweet client of mine, Jennifer, recently started this super cute t-shirt business and she has exploded onto the scene around here. She has also partnered with a couple of other moms who make tutus and bows to match Jennifer's things. We got together last week to shoot some of her latest creations. Tne last mini shoot to share with you. This one is just as cute as the others. I think the bright colors are so cheerful and perfect for the pending Spring days! Autumn and Hayden were sweet little angels and I'm choosing to believe that they're ALWAYS sweet little angels and they never ever fight. The proof is in the pictures...
Aren't these colors great?! I am going to attempt a photoshoot with my boy and girl at this same location and hope they're this cooperative and sweet, but the realist in me knows it will likely be a fight-fest. Happy March!

I have to mention that mom, Michelle, is the owner of H and A candles and they are my new favorite candles. They are poured into beautiful candy dish type jars instead of the often-seen mason jars so they look elegant and smell wonderful. A friend of mine gave me one and I was so impressed by the way it filled a large room with fragrance so I bought a few at our shoot and scored a sweet little stash. I should really be waiting until the designer Shawn has these pictures in her hands before I show off her new designs, but I am so excited about her adorable Easter/Spring outfits. She makes little girl clothes that are everything little girl clothes should be....modest, sweet, fun, and bright.

My mother in law was so good about keeping special momentos from my husband's youth. I gladly inherited at least 50 baseballs. Each baseball represents a homerun he hit. I displayed them for a while in a large glass jug, but it truly didn't do them justice so I came up with this display.
The top pegboard still needs to be drilled in completely so it sits nicely against the wall. This little project was so easy and it is so fun to walk by them and read the stats on each one.
Last year, Ethan played his first season of tee ball and at the end of the season he was awarded this ball.
One day, Daddy's Wall of Fame will become Ethan's Wall of Fame as we replace his homerun balls with Ethan's.

This is another simple, cheap project in his room. I'm always looking for interesting ways to display photographs so I grabbed 6 old clipboards from my husband's desk, some scrapbook paper and Mod podged it onto the clipboard. After they dried completely I slipped in the photographs (5x7's)
My next craft blog will be a quick tutorial on how to make this name banner. It is so easy and cost me less than 10 bucks to make.
AND this room with THIS wall is my next project. We've just purchased a shiny new piano and it was a great motivator to fix up the spare room/office/piano room. I always get asked what paint color I used on this wall and I'll gladly share it as I searced a looooong time for the right red....not too bright and not too orange. It's Sherwin Williams' Roycroft Copper Red.

I want a pair of ruffle pants. These would be so cute with a matching tank top and some cute flippies. For now, I'll just enjoy these pictures of Natalie and her mischievous grin in her own set custom made by Shawn with Fun N Sheek. We'll be shooting her spring line in a couple of weeks and I can't wait to see what she's got in store. Check back tomorrow for an engagement shoot!
It was a pleasure getting to meet the O'Day Family out at their home last week. They're a precious little family and there was no way I could go wrong on my end of the deal. It would be difficult to take a bad picture.

These folks are unmistakeably southern with their extremely friendly, polite personalities. I left feeling thankful for the chance to meet. You can see their charm on their faces. They're really as personable as they look.
I love this picture. We've all had that urge to nibble on soft baby ears, legs, arms, cheeks.
To love your family is an overwhelmingly wonderful feeling. What an honor to bring that feeling to life for families through pictures. Have I told you I love doing this? It's a job, but it's also my passion. I'm always, always composing images in my head when I'm driving in my car and looking out of the window. I'm always metering light in my head. I'm always wondering how to do it better. I appreciate that you let me live my passion.
